Our Story
Born from a creative idea. Built into a patented technology.
DBit started with a simple but inventive idea: what if you could generate a strong password from a picture and a personal PIN? Instead of trying to memorize complex strings of characters, a user could pick a familiar image and combine it with a keypad code — creating a password that was both cryptographically strong and personally recallable.
That core concept became the foundation of Diamondsoft Solutions. Founded in Bellevue, Washington in June 2017, the company spent its early years in R&D, building out the technology and vision. In April 2020, DBit launched on the Microsoft Teams Marketplace — bringing password management directly inside the collaboration platform already used by hundreds of millions of people worldwide.
In April 2022, the United States Patent and Trademark Office awarded Diamondsoft Solutions Patent US 11,308,200 for the "Recallable Media Password Generator" — validating the unique approach to password generation that started the whole journey.
Today, DBit serves organizations of all sizes as a full-featured password manager for Microsoft Teams and Web, with private and shared vaults, AES-256 encryption, SSO support, and two-factor authentication.
